ABSTRACT
There is a prevalent assumption that discussions of ethical concerns surrounding AI inherently involve immoral aspects. Understandably, much of the discourse on AI centers on these ethically problematic consequences, which necessitate careful attention. Nonetheless, AI-based technologies have accomplished remarkable feats, including self-driving cars, facial recognition, and medical diagnostics. Artificial Intelligence holds immense potential for advancing economic and societal progress, as well as enhancing human welfare and safety. However, there are significant risks for users, developers, civilization, and society stemming from AI-based technology's lack ofexplainability, data biases, data security, data privacy, and ethical issues. This research examines the ethical challenges that emerge in the development of AI and explores best practices to drive progress toward ethical excellence.
